We recently completed a stylish and contemporary bathroom installation at a customer’s property in Thornton-in-Craven, delivering a sleek, high-end finish with carefully coordinated fittings and lighting throughout.
The centrepiece of the space is a modern walk-in shower, finished with striking gunmetal fittings that add a bold, sophisticated edge. The 1600 x 900 white slate shower tray by WA Group spans the full width of the room, maximising the usable space. Enhanced further by a bespoke built tiled niche, this shower is a real showstopper.
Complementing the warm tones in the room perfectly is the Ambiance Bain wall-hung ‘Boss’ vanity unit in the rich Safari finish, paired with a gunmetal mixer tap and waste for a cohesive, designer look.
The bathroom also features a wall-hung WC installed on a Jomo frame with soft-close seat, for a clean, ‘floating’ aesthetic. A designer anthracite towel rail with matching corner valves ties seamlessly into the darker accents used throughout the room.
Storage and lighting were carefully considered, with a HIB recessed illuminated LED mirror cabinet providing both practicality and ambient light. Lujo Piedra tiles bring a continental, polished finish to the walls, while Karndean Sicilia Click flooring was laid across the entire room for durability and visual warmth.
To complete the space, we installed LED spotlights along with a new inline extractor fan to ensure effective ventilation. Feature LED strip lighting was added beneath the WC, vanity unit, and within the shower recess, creating a luxurious atmosphere and elevating the overall design.
The result is a contemporary, well-balanced bathroom that combines functionality, quality materials, and elegant lighting to create a refined and relaxing space.
