Originally, this bathroom was two rooms: a small bedroom with a bathroom off the back. This bathroom was an extension off the rear of the house which as poorly insulated therefore too cold; within the project this needed to be addressed. Access to this room was also through the small bedroom resulting in an impractical room. After discussions with the customer it was decided to combine these two separate rooms into one. Within this new space it was possible to create two areas: a functional shower and WC area, and a space with a dressing room feel. The shower space stands in the extension area so insulating boards around each wall solved the temperature issue within that space.
Using Burlington taps, a floor standing basin and wall lights, the room has a traditional edge and high-quality finish especially with the use of the heritage colour, sage green, for the basin unit. Our sister company installed a completely new heating system with a high output Viessmann boiler to ensure maximum hot water performance to the shower and bath.
